Kompozer Portable is a great web editing tool for web designers and beginners alike and can be downloaded from the Kompozer site for free. Kompozer is fast, easy to use and includes a rich variety of add-on modules that can be customized according to your needs. Kompozer also provides a user-friendly beta 3 web browser that is fully integrated with Kompozer's site manager. When doing that with Dreamweaver, it almost leads to a system crash and can take over a minute in Dreamweaver. KompoZer is a project forked from NVU, another open source web editor. It is far from just a simple editor and combines great HTML editing tools while keeping the program fast. The speed of KompoZer can be attributed to collaborative community development.
